Redeem Steam wallet code
Hey guys, I just bought a steam card and when I try to redeem it, it says "An unexpected error has occurred. Your Steam Wallet code has not been redeemed. Please wait 30 minutes and try redeeming the code again. If the problem persists, please contact Steam Support for further assistance." What should I do?

wait 30 minutes and try again.
make sure you are entering the code correctly, are you sure the card was activated by the retailer when you purchased it?
if it still doesn't work you will need to create an account with steam support site and make a ticket.

You haven't lost money. Assuming the card is legitimate (which it probably.is if you bought it at a eetail store) steam support will be able to help you activate it.

Click "Support" at the top of your browser. If using client, you'll have to look for it.

Actually, my roommate somehow got my $20. Got it back anyway. :D lol

My problem was very simple, my friends tried to troll me by sending me a used code.

If you're encountering,
""An unexpected error has occurred. Your Steam Wallet code has not been redeemed. Please wait 30 minutes and try redeeming the code again. If the problem persists, please contact Steam Support for further assistance."
try contacting Steam Support or your retailer. I would recommend contacting your retailer as steam support hardly ever answer
