Beeping sound whenever keyboard is pressed (in-game only)
Not sure if this is in the right place, but I'm not sure of the nature of the problem myself so I'm just posting here.

Occasionally when playing Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead 2, my speakers will play a beeping sound everytime I press a button. The game still runs normally and my keyboard input is still registered, but the game lags and stutters a lot more.

The buttons that usually cause this are typically ALT and F10, although there have been cases where I used these buttons and no beeping sound glitch occurs.

I've already disabled sticky keys. This glitch only occurs in-game. Switching to desktop and typing won't yield the beeping sounds.

Help would be thoroughly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had this same issue. I found out that it was a Radeon software function relating to Anti-Lag (or Radeon Chill, according to the forum I read) and Hotkeys being enabled.

If you have an AMD GPU and the Radeon software, open Radeon, go to the Settings gear and either Graphics>Un-tick "Radeon Anti-Lag" or (if you want to keep Anti-Lag) Hotkeys>Un-tick "Use Hotkeys".
