Steam wouldn't allow me to access my account details.

Just as the title says, even though I was able to log on to steam itself and access my games, I was denied access to my account details and barred from starting discussions until I logged in a second time.

The problem seems to have resolved itself, but this has just started today, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this in case it happens to me again.

wait, you couldnt log on your account right? but you could see the libary?
because i heard steam was down like 5 min ago and i wasnt logged on my account too and that scared the Sh*t out of me

Im having a similar issue.

I cant log into my account info on any internet browser. When I try, it tells me my account doesnt exist.

I was unable to start a discussion for 20 minutes, but was able to access account details in game client. But only in client.

Any time I try to log into a website, I'm told I dont exist lol

Steam would start up okay and the library seemed to work fine, but clicking on anything else made it move like a tortoise.

When it would finally load, I would be given the login screen we see at the steam website.

However, after I shut down my computer and started it back up, everything seems to be good.

like i said, steam was down for 15-20 minutes. i hope everyone is alright with your account :D and have a good day bro! if you need more help about your problem or worried try to check the discussion place :D
