Sacred Gold. I'm currently playing a Wood Elf who summons a unicorn to fight for her (it's surprisingly effective.) Most Final Fantasy games have a summoner class or a summoner character at least. Special credit should probably go to Final Fantasy VIII, as every character can summon and it's both a gameplay and story thing.

Most of the Elder Scrolls games have the Conjuration school of magic, which lets you summon monsters to fight for you.

The Bards tale is a classic and you are a summoned. Also Sacrifice. And Path of Exile.

In Brutal Legend you basically summon various units so I would say it counts too.

I second what ReBoot said, Sacrifice is basically all about summoning. Although not that a new game.

Do you really think skyrim and the very very few conjuration skills it has is better then oblivions conjuration skills. You are either a hardcore fanboy or you have never used the conjuration skill.

Skyrim is my fav game, but I can tell that summoning spells there are far more dumbed down as was before in Oblivion.
