why do i have to wait 2 days to download a game??

Are you talking about your download speed? If your internet connection is slow or unstable it'll cause the download to take longer and that's unrelated to Steam. You'll have to talk to your internet provider if that's the case. :(

I honestly don't know it just says the download will take 2 days

Well with games like GTA V the download is massive (you need 65GB of space) so naturally it can take a while for many. But if it's just an average game and you're getting two days you'll definitely need to get faster internet or you'll have a disaster playing games.

Also a tip, if you want to play something else while downloading on the Steam Client, start downloading the game, then start running the game you're wanting to play in the meantime, then minimise that game and return to the Steam Client to restart the game you just started to download. Steam tends to automatically stop any downloads when you start running another game so this is just a way around it if you're getting bored waiting for things to download.
