GTA V installation

[My diq is wet]

Hi so I purchased GTA on rockstar and downloaded it from rockstar but I also have it on my steam account but when trying to run it from steam it wants me to download GTA again even when putting all the files in the steam library file. Is there a way to copy the files and make steam notice the files?

Are you trying to intergrate te Rockstar version into Steam? Thats not going to work. What are you trying to do exactly?

I installed the game through rockstar social club but I want to use my steam account without reinstalling the whole 60gb as I downloaded the game.

I don't if this will work with the social club version but be sure that the main folder named GTA V and is in SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common then press on install and wait for steam to discover the files it maybe will download some extra mbs.
