how to save all game progress

recently my system crashed and i lost all my saved data-i had a backup stored on my computer but still can't find all my game data, some posted that steam will backup game files automaticly,but i don't know how to enable this feature.. any help would be greatly appreacatied

I think it saves most of the game saves automaticly. at least it saves Skyrim's...

Steam only makes progress saves on Steam Cloud with the games that have this feature so some you'll have to do yourself. Like minari99 says, Skyrim is one of the games that have the Steam Cloud feature. But the ones without it, you're on your own basically.

You could also just backup the save files separately. But as your system has already crashed, the short answer is Steam hasn't backed up the rest of your games' save files that weren't auto synced to the cloud. :(

Well they're usually in your documents folder but expect you've already checked there and can no longer find any more?

right plus in steam user data only some games were there

Well they're usually in either steamapps (common) or documents so I suspect the rest are most likely lost. :( Sorry mate.
