Why would you want that?

playing a game that uses those keys so im hitting them together sometimes and then well I close out of the game because alt tab closes the window...the game is still in beta so it glitches every time the window is minimized and I end up having to restart the game. :rbat:

Then rebind them in the game so they aren't used together.
ALT TAB is an OS function, so no u can't change it

Games that do not like ALT TAB, u may find you can still switch to them fine if u do it from Task Manager > Applications > right click the game name > Switch To / Bring to Front

I have the same problem and why should I change my preferred key layout which is super ergonomic and feels natural to me? I will better find a way to disable Alt+Tab in Windows. I ll write here if I find the solution.

You can use AutoHotkey to disable the combination for your game, but other than that, it is pretty damn hard, a decision made in Windows NT: https://superuser.com/questions/1368548/how-to-disable-alttab-in-windows-10-without-autohotkey

If I may pop in, you can also re-configure other hardware (if you use them) such as Gamepads and Keypads. For example, I got something as a gift that is a left-hand small keyboard (QWER, ASDF, etc) and it has SHIFT and ALT keys as well on it [not mentioning what brand it is, so to not seem as though I am advertising for it].

You can configure the keypad so that where the TAB key should be, it is another key instead
- maybe 'Y' for something in the game... basically whatever that key was supposed to be when pressed, you just configure as 'something else' in the software/program that comes with the keypad, so when you press it, something else happens - that way you will never have to worry about hitting ALT+TAB combo again (with that piece of hardware/keypad).
