I bought rust and didn't get the game
I bought rust and I was charged for it but it never showed up in my library, I sent in a ticket a couple days ago and they still haven't replied. What should I do?

Check your account settings and make sure the transaction was actually successful. Most likely it failed on Steam's end. The funds will be sent back to your payment method in a few days

What does https://store.steampowered.com/account/ say about your purchase? Did you get a confirmation email from Steam? Well if you didn't get confirmation from Steam (again you can check the status here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/ ). Then the transaction has likely failed. If that is the case then the payment method company have put a hold on your funds. What that means is that the funds will eventually return to your account/card usually within 1-5 business days (up to a maximum of 10) depending on your country's laws and payment provider's policies
I didn't get a confirmation email and when I clicked the link you posted it didn't show rust
Would I still get the money refunded if I bought it with a prepaid visa card?

Yes it should return to your prepaid card.

Yes it should return to your prepaid card.
Thank you! How long approximately would you think it would take?

No problem. Most pre-paid debit cards can be used on Steam, but I do not suggest using pre-paid debit cards. In addition to being a ripoff (fees, lack of protections/support, no rewards) they also have trouble on some internet sites like Steam. Due to the high amount of attempted credit card fraud on Steam, they take a couple extra measures to verify the billing name and info that you submit is the same that the card issuer has on file. Since prepaid cards don't have that info by default purchases can often fail. Most card companies will allow you to contact the number on the back of the card for you to attach your billing info to the card.

In all honesty, in the future, your best bet would really be to just go to a local store and use the prepaid card to buy a Steam gift card if that is an option for you. If you have to use a pre-paid card, I recommend the AmEX serve card www.serve.com as it has the best terms for the customer but I don't know if it is available in Canada.

I don't know if Canada has any banking laws related to this but usually it is 3 to 5 business/banking days, but it may be more close to 5 than 3 because it is a prepaid card and the prepaid card companies are usually on the slower side to prevent fraud/abuse

Thank you I will keep that in mind next time
