someone sent me a link with .exe

and my steam crashed. A file deleted steam.exe and csgo.exe
I reinstalled steam. Can I get banned for this? I dont want to lose any skins/etc.

Most deffinetly do a full cleaning sweep with your antivirus uninstall cs go and re-install it same with the client make sure the .exe file you downloaded is fully removed from your pc change every password for everything you have like Skype Facebook Gmail etc you should also probably do a system restore to before this happened and then do all that just to be safe AND NEVER EVER DOWNLOAD A .EXE FROM UNTRUSTED PROVIDERS.

The problem is he said its a communicator like team speak. He called it clean voice and site looked legit, i downloaded it because it was good looking web. Already changed everything but can i get VAC banned or something?

A vac ban is the least of your worries until you make absolutely sure the machine and account are secure.

If they hijack your account through what you allowed in to your computer, they certainly can cheat one it and get you banned.

Validate your game cache and only download teamspeak, mumble or gamevox although ts is the best. Once valve validates the integrity of your game cache and repairs anything or removes anything that could be bad you should be good. Gl

A system restore and deep cleaning with antivirus/malware should fix that although there are more in depth ways to go about securing your pc after something like this.
