How can I start steam in "small mode"?
I really like this "small mode" so, how do I let steam run in small mode always. See image http://i.imgur.com/C5OlBPZ.jpg

Any ideas?

Hm. Try setting your favorite window to library.

add this as a command line option:
+open steam://open/minigameslist

setting Steam launch options: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5623-QOSV-5250

edit: this method might be unneccessary. I tested Favorite window = Library and restarted Steam while leaving it in small mode and it seemed to be enough

My favourite window has been Library for years. It's not the same thing.

edit: nm I just restarted steam and it launched in small mode. Although I still would like an option to force launch in small mode. Because if you leave Steam in normal library mode this is how it will launch next.

another way to do this is to create a new shortcut in any folder or desktop with the url:
steam://open/minigameslist

this method does not leave room for setting other options though

I think it remembers your old settings

Anyone knows if you can use (".bat") with the command in 2023: "Start Steam: // open/minigameslist" to determine size ? Or if you can edit any Steam file in configurations..., to turn on a certain size, determine the reset/resignate through a specific number or some command (".bat") ?
