Can't buy market items after CS:GO Cooldown

Yesterday I got kicked from a Comp game in CS:GO. I got a cooldown on 30 minutes. Today, I went to the market to buy some things, and this text comes up: The Community Market is temporarily disabled. Please try again later. Whenever I try to buy something. Nothing else, no messages or anything. Any idea what's going on? I haven't been VAC banned in any Steam game, I have not logged in on a new browser or anything. Yesterday I could buy items with no problems.

Market is down, unrelated to your cooldown.

It has nothing to do with the cooldown. The Market is disabled all together. You just have to wait.

There are a few dozen topics about it already.

Im not a moderator but i may know what happend. A hacker exploited the steam market and changed all the prices of items. Now the Steam Employees are trying to load up a backup on their servers so the prices of the items will be back normal. After all they also have to find the exploit and fix it. I bet it will take like 2 - 6 hours, so just wait and dont panic about any of your items it they got lost because valve will restore these!

Nothing to do with a hacker. It's apparently a bad currency exchange rate on a new currency added to Steam.
