Geometry Dash Launch Error

Hi, I'm not sure what's going on but whenever I launch geometry dash from steam it starts the launch but then never launches! Please help! I have a Intell i7 gforce gt 640 and 16gb ram. Thanks

Right click on the game, then local files. And verify.

i dont know if this would help, but i had the problem were the icon would show up, but nothing would happen. so i logged into my second account and via family share, launched the game, and it worked. so i logged back into my original account, it launched and worked, so i was able to play... hope this helps :D

I found a fix! First go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Geometry Dash\_CommonRedist\vcredist and delete both the 2010 and 2013 folders. Then go to C:\Users\Your username here\AppData\Roaming and delete the folder that says Geometry Dash. Then finally uninstall and reinstall the game from steam. Hope it works :)
