Is Using Large Address Aware for Modding Allowed?
I recently picked up Mass Effect and want to continue playing the game with mods. Specifically, I found a nice large texture mod that replaces the in-game textures with high resolution ones. Mod in question: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=181397226

Thing is, it recommends using the Large Address Aware program on the Mass Effect executable to allow it to access larger amounts of RAM likely due to the new textures that would certainly take up more memory. Since it's a 32-bit .exe, it won't use more than 2 GiB of RAM.

Since this is technically "modifying" the game executable, in the sense that it would be allowed to access more memory, is this considered against Steam's or the game's EULA? I want to be sure this this wouldn't be considered illegal or breaching contract before I do anything.

Would I get banned from Steam or the game if I used Large Address Aware?
