Heroes of might and magic Black Screen

Hi guys im having problem with might and magic 6 i both the ,
Might and Magic Heroes VI: Complete Edition
and now im geting black sreen when i start a custam game or campain,
plz help
: it workt to change the resolution , but only for a few min
and for exp : when it was ok for 5 min , i enterd a portal got black sreen again

i can see a little color but its black.....
i play other meny, games on higest grafics and everything works fine
duno what this is but i need some help.....

man i cant eaven post there and no1 seeems to care about my problem
i whant my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
never gona buy on steam again , because the suport is bad ,
iv beeeen braking my back to fix this problem , dosent work! and no one from the steam suport eaven helpt me and it looks like they are eaven not gona reach out to me

Steam is not the reason that game does not work. Support is not there to troubleshoot your games. You need to either do some research or post in that games forums. You will not get a refund. Steam has a no refund policy.

This is a user forum. There are no refunds. The game is fine. You need to read system requirements or tweak your system to run the game.

Use your google magic and see if you can find a way to fix your issue. See if you need to upgrade your video drivers. Try something on your end. PC's are not consoles and sometimes you need to work with them to run a certain game.

U don't have to throw away a good game cause of configuration issues.. Don't be dissapointed man ! Everyone has problems with software all the time !

The game usually has a black screen for two or three reasons:
1. Compatibility with windows - u can solve it with compatibility wizard in windows and choosing running with previous version of windows;
2. some video in the launching of game is not possible to run (this issue i was struggling at Darksiders game) - solution - delete the launching video that's causing problem (In Darksiders was AMD LOGO video, after deletion, everything works fine);
3. Direct X, Open GL, video software problem or video driver problem - as solution here, try to reinstall the game: delete files and redownload and install them, update all video drivers from OFFICIAL SITE and Direct X , Phys X and other known software (usually steam provides it at installation step of the game so you should have the last version of video software).

Archon is right. This stuff WILL happen every now and again. It comes part and parcel with gaming on a PC. Don't think there is nothing you can do. There typically is as long as you meet the specs.

Try:

Go in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher" then right click on "Uplay.exe" and lauch as admin, and compatibility Windows 7 (I'm running Win 8)

Start Uplay with the changed settings and log in

Activate your HOMM6 Key

Launch HOMM6 from Steam

That worked for me...
