For example: My computer, which cost me around $1000 (for the base parts, factoring in upgrades and extra stuff it's like $1400), can run Skyrim at a QHD resolution, with mutliple graphics-enchancing mods, at a steady 40-50 FPS.
The argument that you need a $2000 PC to run games well is complete crap. I don't see any reason, right now, to spend more than $1500 on a computer. It's just not neccesary. Plus, a computer that can easily outclass and outperform a console can be had for less than $600.
