Linked email adress disable
Hi everybody,

since a while I'm trying to recover my old steam account. I HAVE my username, I HAVE my password, BUT steam sent an email on the linked email adress, which has been erased by outlook. Therefore I'm not able to reach the CODE.

I tried several steam support. But always the same answer :"Please check your spam or junk folder as Steam emails may be getting filtered out by your provider. We also recommend adding 'support@steampowered.com' and 'noreply@steampowered.com' to your contacts or trusted senders list within your email client and re-test the issue. Also please make sure to check all other categories or tabs in your inbox (such as social or promotions).

Which doesn't help AT ALL.

I'm getting tired by steam and it's support.

I thought it was obvious since my first post says "I tried steam support several times" + the copy paste. Sorry if I seem upset. But I'm losing patience. too many days i try to solve that problem...

yes that does not mean anything and than you proceed to talk about spam filters.

So, I create my steamsupp account (a new account, i.e. the account I'm using right now)

The question is: How can I have the code to recover my old account (badboy1946, yeah i know it suck xD)

This account (badboy1946) is linked to the email address badboy1946@hotmail.com which no longer exist.

I do have my username (see supra) and my pw.

I can provide you by screenshots to ensure this old email account and steam account were mine
but anyway now I get that support gave you a reset and say to check all your email folders if you can not find it.

they would have said what email account or would use your support account.

update the ticket that you did not get it.

Please, say clearly what i have to do, and on what account. You've said "remove your email"
from what account ? how (since i can't reach the account) ?

Do you get that i can't reach my old email address again. I can't go look in the spam folders and so on.

I can't remove my e-mail address neither since I can't reach my old steam account.

So steam support send me a code to log in from a new computer. This code has been sent on a old email address.
PS: I'm sorry but english isn't my mothertongue as you would have expected :p
Contact Steam Support
Properly explain that you do not have access to the Email address you have registered on your account, or that you are not receiving the emails.

Wait for a response.

no I do not get the old email and I do not get when you say.

your old accounts have nothing to do with your support requests neither has this steam account.

only your working email account is needed.

I allready got an "automatic answer" sent by "the staff" is that the answer you are talking about ? Or should I wait for a real person to answer ?
no I talk about a green bordered reply from steam support on your online ticket form.

Automatic replies are just confirmations that your Ticket was received and include some very basic troubleshooting steps (because users never read the Support Articles) you can read in the mean time and hopefully fix the easy issues before having to wait for a real response.
To make it clearer

1) I wanted to connect on Cs go with my old and only true account (badboy1946)
2) After typing my pw steam ask me to fill in a code that' has been sent on the email address linked to the badboy account
3) this email address doesn't exists anymore (outlook erase it because of non use)
4) I can't fill in the code
5) I create an account on steam support (Gambleuh) to get in touch with someone who could help me in the recovery.

I can't make it clearer
