DO NOT USE THEM
If any shady cd-key shop is asking you to do that, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAUGE
Only purchase from AUTHORIZED resellers.
Games purchased within the EU/UK arent region locked. You can play them anywhere without issue. (the only game tah has an inexplicable EU region lock is HAWX)
There is NO LEGITIMATE reason to use a VPN on steam.
If you're having issues puchasing games on Steam because you're moving around, contact support and they will allow you to purchase games from the UK store directly from wherever you are. THAT is the solution to your problem, not VPNs
There was a guy a few months back who bought H1Z1 on a popular but dodgy key site and was given a Russian region-locked key; he was Level 96, had about 1,300 games on record and decided for the sake of saving £8, would risk everything by using a VPN to unlock the game - his 11 year unblemished account was terminated 2 days later and he lost absolutely everything. It is not worth the risk and if you're in the EU/UK; these games wont be region locked assuming you purchase from reputable retailers.
so dont really know but for some reason it doesn't let me to join eny servers in games without a vpn(and the vpn is in the same region as i live)
2) but i never buy games using vpn only to play online in games (for some reason my internet doesn't let me join a server without using a vpn)
1st: Saunalahti isn't a "phone company"; it's a concern company of Elisa's. I personally use Saunalahti and I don't use any proxies. Sounds more like a problem with your ports or your firewall.
2nd: Do you have to connect to Steam using -tcp?
I get annoyed at the Marketing invading my Privacy at every turn, polluting all my electronics.
