Where is the game data stored?
I am about to update my windows to a 64bit instead of 32, but i am not sure what will happen to my steam games that i have installed. The games are still going to be accessable, i know that much, but what about the game data? Is there a diference between the games with a launcher and the games without? Please let me know as soon as possible if you know anything. That would be great.

You can use gamesave manager to backup all your save files.
http://www.gamesave-manager.com/

The rest of it is in the steamapps folder. Those are the only bits of data you need to save, Game files plus save games files.

Thanks! I'll try that later to see if it works. :)

Depending on the game, your saved game data will sometimes be located in Documents/My Games/incert name of game.

I'm now moving everything from my steamapps folder to a backup folder. That should work, right?
