Lag spikes on Battlefield 3 and 4
I know this isn't a right forum for posting questions about Origin games but I'm having a really bad experience playing these games because of the lag spikes and I'm interested in fixing it.

Then ask on the battlelog/Answer HQ/EA live chat/EA phone/EA support (ticket).

The fact that you log into battlelog when you go to play the game should make it the best option.

For Battlefield 4
Go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4
Create a user.cfg -file. (You can make one with a Notepad and just save it in .cfg -format, [Make sure it's not .txt -file extension with just the .cfg infront.]).

Input this command in the user.cfg and it will act like an automatic execution for the game's console:

WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable false
Save the file.

For Battlefield 3
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3
Create a user.cfg file. (The same way as above)

Input this command in the user.cfg and it will act like an automatic execution for the game's console:

DxDeferredCsPathEnable 0
Save the file.

Also, like LaserSandwich911 suggested, try turning off Origin's GUI.
