Ugly textures on Dark Souls

I tried to "install" DSfix, but it didn't fix anything. It made it worse. Text looks horrible, and most game textures look like something out of the N64.

Dark Souls is a console port...

I have to agree the texture graphics and shading are shockingly poor quality for PC.
However, that's considered Ultra Realistic HD for PS4 and XBONE console quality...

(I'm also referring to Dark Souls 2, not just the first one, and people say that it spos to look 100 times better than the first one, it still sickens me as poor quality)

Consoles use the hdtv to blur... it's the same poor quality, just a pc monitor will show it up more. Note that Dark Souls was developed back in 2011 for the PS3.

Possibly look for a Dark Souls HD Texture Pack.

With the DSFix, open DSfix.ini and edit to your wanted settings.
