Shortcut Icons Are All Steam Logo

So I had accidentally changed the default program for all .url files to Firefox and it changed all my Steam game shortcuts to the Firefox logo. I then learned you have to manually delete the file associations through regedit. So I deleted the associations for .url files and it turned all my Steam shortcuts to have a blank logo. I tried deleting and then having Steam make them again, but that did not work. Then I started a game to see if it would change the icon, and it just changed all the icons to the Steam logo instead of just changed that particular one. Then I reinstalled Steam to see if it'd make new associations or something to get back the regular icons for each game. Still nothing. I've also restarted my computer a couple times to see if that'd help and it did not.

Anyone know what to do? I know I could just go into the game files and make a shortcut that way, but that's a much bigger hassle to have to do it for every game from now on.

The linked page in that thread didn't actually help, but it still helped me find this[www.sevenforums.com] which provides a download containing all the default file associations. Downloading and then running the default .url registry edit fixed the issue. Thanks Seven7, and I'll leave this info here in case someone else has the problem.
