Buying/Gifting Multiple copies of the same game!
Okay, A brief explanation of what I would like to do.

I am Guild Leader of a EverQuest 2 Guild. US Servers.

EverQuest 2 is releasing another Expansion on Nov. 11th 2014.

I have bought 480.00 Dollars worth of Steam Cards. 24 $20 cards.

WHAT I WANT TO DO! I want to buy 12 of my guild mates the expansion for a Christmas present. ( we have played for 5 years together now.

Steam only allows me to buy 1 Copy of any game.

How can I buy 12 copies of the game, and get ( Expansion Codes to give out to my freinds?

How many times can 1 game be gifted?

How many times can 1 game be gifted to the same Steam Account?

What are my options ( with using the cards I have ) to make sue my guild mates can get a CD Key?

Please help, any information would be great?

Purchase as gifts and store them in Inventory until gifting but you will have to buy one at a time....

there is no phone number for support. You must use the support system.

When I would buy them as " gifts " would I have access to each Game CD Key?

Or would i need every guild mate too have a steam account in order to Gift such item?

They would need a Steam account to activate the gift. You can't buy a CD key from Steam.

Also keep in mind that Steam expansions and DLC only work with the Steam version of the game.

Good point. I don't know anything about that game but make sure you are purchasing what your friends can use.

I know with Everquest 2 ( speaking only of that game, The last expansion was Gifted to me. I recieved a email that said XXX has sent you a gift. Upon logging into steam, I was given a CDKey to enter into: Sony Online Account info page.


Yeah, i guess for the sake of not wasting 480.00 bucks, I need to contact customer support. Thank you for your help!
