Counter Strike: GO corrupt update files and stuck at 100%

I have tried veryifying the game cache, re-installing multiple times, restarting my computer and steam, and a few other things. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

If you mean that the CS:GO updating thing is stuck at 100% - I had that happen to me once. I think I tried closing steam and opening it again several times until it worked. It eventually did and I just figured that the update probably just released and their bandwidth was maxed out from everyone updating at the same time.

I'll try this out and see if it works. Thanks for the response. Btw this isn't the first time this has happened. A while ago i had the same issue and eventually gave up on trying to fix and then a few weeks later it fixed itself somehow.

Yeah to be honest I've had several bugs happen to me while playing CS:GO especially trying to reconnect to a game (sometimes my router restarts) To fix it I usually have to close the game, and maybe steam, then restart it and whatever issue I was having might be resolved, for now. LOL

Yeah usually that is the case for me too but this time I can't seem to fix it.

Yeah best to just give it some time and if it's still a problem later then keep searching the forums. If nothing ends up working you might try reinstalling steam, but I would do that right now because I don't know if that would uninstall any games or mess with settings, etc.
