Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare NO SOUND!?!?!?!?
I started the game, it worked fine then suddenly when I tabbed out and went back in the sound stopped working. I cant hear anything. Tried restarting my computer etc... Still nothing ;-; Tried changing sound settings. Still nothing. I DIDNT PAY 100USD FOR NOTHING!?:squirtmeh:

I'm having the same issue, solutions would be appreciated.

Just happened to me too. 1/2 way through the last chapter of SP and all in game sound died. Menu's are fine. Cutscene's are fine just no actual in-game sound at all.
Restarted PC, verified game cache, loaded & watched the cutscene - still no in-game sound.

I fixed it by going into my Playback Devices, enabling something other than my current device and setting it to default playback/recording device. Then I disabled it and it set my headphones to automatic default device and the sound appeared...

I have the same problem. At the end of the game i think in the last chapter short before the rocket starts ... end of sound ... in menue ok, cutscene also. but ingame no sound

Ok I have the same problem as you guys where I can only hear sound at the cut scenes, no sound at the menu or in game, and extremely bad fps during campaign and multiplier. However I am playing AW on the Xbox One and have tried everything I can think of to fix it with no results. If you guys know any way that I might be able to fix it please help.

similar issue but this won't help much i dont think beacuse i have the xbox one version of the game and the in-game sound is fine its the cutscene sound i can barely hear, at points i can hear it a little bit other times i cant hear it at all, i dunno what happened but i never cant get sound from the cutscenes

to fix: go to multiplayer and enabel all on voice and audio menu.
