how do you send a video to a friend?

I'll assume you have already recorded the video. If the video is related to a game available on Steam, you could upload it to the community page of that game, and then give your friend the URL.

If the video does not violate its terms of service, you could also upload it to YouTube and then give your friend that link.

If you just want your friend to see it, and nobody else, you could put the video in a password protected .ZIP file and upload it to any of a number of hosting sites, for example:

DepositFiles[depositfiles.com]
