Should I favor one friend over another !?!
Steam sent me this message

" Friends limit reached; you'll need to clear out any suggested friends, cancel sent invites, or remove some friends, before you can send or accept any more friend invites."

* How & mostly WHY should I have to deleat friends ?

This is sad support for a community.

You must level up your steam account to unlock more friend. Default friend 250. Every level adds another 5 slots friend to unlock. Linking a Facebook account adds another 50 slots.:pandastunned:
Increase your steam level, it will allow you to have more friends.
All we want is co op interaction ~ We are a global community

* Steam should be proud of that & not limmit us.
Is it really Steam's wish to force private information from members in good standing?

* My profile is open
* I verify my e mail account

** I pay for games with my credit card.

*** Why dose steam need more ?

Steam should look at my account & think about how many games I have bought for my self & others.

* Steam needs to think about these things.

OK so how do I do this ?

* I heard if you some how link to facebook but I'm not sure how you make this offical. I already have Saints Row listed on my Facebook likes.

I have folks waiting that would like to be my onliune gaming freinds but I can't add them because of this limmitation.
edit your STEAM profile, there's an option to link your FB account to STEAM

Own more games, craft more badges and participate in Steam’s community events. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=212414540

You have 280+ "friends".

Don't tell me you have contact with all of them regularily.

I daresay you have 100+ in there that you only played with once or twice, if even that.

Steam "friend" count is high enough, especially with each level adding 5 more (lol)

Because, really:

I thank you for the link but none of that sounds like fun to me. I am here for the games & releated chat.

I removed everyone from my friends list that has not been active for over one month & still I can't accept new friends.

* Steam should be ahamed of these stupid limmitation.

* We paid good money for these games so we could play them on line with others all over the world.

* SHAME ON STEAM ! These limmitations are a disservice to the community.

* The events & all that other crap listed in the link should be optional.

* I am a co op gammer & a freind to those who play simmilar games . That is all I came here to be.

* I am helpful & I speak to my fellow gammers repectfully. Why can't Steam show me the same respeact of allowing me to be freinds with as many folks as I like?

* We paid for the games, we should be the ones who decide what level of activity we take part in beyond that.

* It is a good thing that you have team events. I have partisapated in a few but they should be tottaly optional & those of us who really just want to co op play the games we bought should NOT be limmited to a number of folks we choose to talk to by our level of involvement in these other events & or activities.

I mean no disrespect but yes, I do feel put off by these restrictions.

* I came here for the games I choose to play & to hang out with with folks who play simmilar games. I don't care about trading cards or emoticons, even rank. I just want to be able to talk & play with any & all who wish to talk & play with me.

I respectfully claim " This is not to much to ask. " Please consider it ?

My rule is that if you've got a private profile or have been offline for 60 days, away you go.
I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt.

* Who know why folks are away?

I am go'n on a month log vacation soon but what if it was some thing more traggic ?

* What if some body's wife, child or mouther died? .. Folks my need some time off. Imagin how it would feel to come back from a break & see your "friend" dumped you.

I have yet to see any real reason for Steam's limit on freinds & why we the members should have to do these additional tasks in order to share game & chat time with those who ask us to join them.

What if they did? Two months is a pretty long vacation and I don't know anyone on my friends list all that well. I'll have a group that I'll play a bunch of games with, add them and then eventually they move on and off they go.
because it's all about spending money on steam (or invest a lot of time to trade cards/items)
* buy games = earn XP
* make badges, buy cards = earn XP
* earn XP = increase your steam level = more friends

btw. i would be more concerned about loosing a real life friend instead of getting removed from a steam "friends" list because i wasn't on steam for a week or two.

you're almost exclusively playing SR3/4, Fallout NV & TES Oblivion (the latter 2 are single player only) and you can just play SR3/4 with just ONE steam buddy at a time - and you're telling us +270 steam buddys aren't enough for that?

A death in the family might put some one off their game time. I try to be understanding.

* I am the nicest guy you will ever have met that actually killed a lot of folks on more than one occasion.
