t even know him he get all my valuable item.....

Holy cow. . three in a row. That guy is on a roll. Its funny how this happens all the time. Strange how Steam mostly says.." account security is your responsibility". However that gives the theives the free reign to steal what they like.

I thought tricking people and stealing from them was illegal. If the EULA rules trickled into the real world.. we would be all screwed.

That's why you don't go clicking on random links. But I'm guessing you also downloaded and ran a file..? steamguard.exe perhaps?

I've never gotten a "link" in a chat message from anyone.. My question is this .. *directed towards Matt*.. when people do get a link in the chat... does steam warn right then and there that it might be a scam?

The same thing doesnt happen for Chat links?

Usually what happens is people copy the link from the chat window and paste it into Internet Explorer, so in that case it is impossible for Steam to give a warning.

How is it *impossible* for steam to give a warning.. the warning should come as soon as the other person types in a *link* and sends it to the victim.. no? Perhaps I'm wrong..

If after the warning someone copies and pastes the link.. then its absolutely their fault.. I agree. :)
