Currency change from USD to TL.
I was absolutely outraged when I saw this "abomination", USD was replaced with TL. I know why some of you might see this as a "feature" but it really isn't as the TL prices are MUCH more expensive than USD, I don't know what caused this "change", but I have to say but this is going to anger a lot of Turkish people as the USD prices were expensive enough because of our economy. Just look it up, 1 TL is 2.23 USD. With the implementation of TL as currency, prices went HIGHER than what they would be with the change of the currency... For example, a 50 USD game would be selled for 111.74 TL, but right now, it's being sold for 179 TL! I am outrageous about this, and would like it to be changed immediately.

You can imagine if what you say is true nobody will buy games. Take me for example I have 750 games and not even I would pay more than 35-40 pounds on a brand new game. I live in the UK btw. The games market is on thin ice as it is. An increase in games price would surely make every big company out there not sell their games at all.

I'm talking about the Turkish gaming communty here, and yes they will buy games but not from Steam as Steam charges 170 Tl for a game that can be easily acquired for 120 TL from a Turkish game website. The only reason I used Steam was because of the prices and the community and one of those reasons is pretty much gone.

Most likely because they didn't publicize it in a way regular users like me could see it, and we can't know without trying.
