Any way to figure out my username or email?

On my family member's account posting here to try and figure out my own user name and password. I only tried playing one game and it was gifted to me from this account, so I'm not sure how to "retrieve" my account. If I can just figure out which username or email I used, I can remember the rest. Anyone has any ideas?

The gift transfer should be in the trade history or the gift history, both accessible from the Inventory page. Both name the recipient, although it's not the username you're looking for.

Still, you might need to make a support ticket. I don't currently see a way to make Steam send a mail if you only know the profile link of an account.

The fact that you have access to this account doesn't mean much, but it will help Steam support to see where the gift went. They can then try to work with you to find something to proof that it is your account.

yeah, I tried looking through the gift history and all it says is the "profile name". Thanks anyway though!

I have a few ideas to find your Account/Username.

If you use Autofill on your browser, maybe you can find your account name you typed to login to steam.

You can also find your username by going to your Steam folder: c/program files/steam/steamapps and the under your common folder.

i looked in there last night also lol, didn't find any obvious locations where they could be kept. So much time has been wasted already, why don't they have a damn phone number.
