i downloaded payday from the store but in the insall appear this
''the currenty installed version of the drivers is newer than your'e traying to install, aborting the installation

I think it's PhysX. Steam gave me that kind of message recently when it tried to update that. Might very well have been the Payday install.

Or rather, it's not Steam giving the message. Steam is running the installer, which then complains :-)

Yeah I got Payday: The Heist for free during that 24 hour Crimefest thing and every time I start it it does the "first time setup" thing and keeps on opening the PhysX installer which always aborts because I have newer version then the one it's trying to install. So Steam always thinks that I haven't installed PhysX so starts the installer every time.

At least it launches the game though, but still it is annoying.
