Billing Address
My billing address is a PO Box in the United States, but I currently live in Chile studying abroad, and since Steam recognized I am in Chile, it won't allow me to make any online purchases because of a mismatch of countries. Any tips?

Well I've had a steam account since 2 years prior to me leaving for Chile, and I have made online purchases through steam here in Chile before. This issue is recent

PO boxes generally are not considered a permanent address. A permanent address has to be a physical building (house, apartment, etc.).

Basically you need to contact support and ask them to change your region to be Chile since that is where you reside.

The thing is: your address in Steam, your credit card billing address, and the location that Steam detects all need to match.

No no no the issue is it won't let me use my card at all. All credit/debit cards are linked to a billing address, and that billing address is what I have to use for Steam as well, but it won't let me because it knows my current region is Chile. My homestay's address here in Chile is not a valid billing address, and since the card is linked with my parents' acount, there is no way to get the billing address changed anyway. It is completely a screw up on Steam's part.
