Alien: Isolation download errors

Just bought Alien: Isolation and was downloading Final Fantasy XIII pre-load (was at 10 of 50GB) paused this and started downloading AI. After about 200mb I get a notice of writing to hard drive and download stops. After about 30 seconds the download continues and gets to about 1GB and it just stops. Says it requires an update so click and it starts downloading but quickly stops again. Have to keep clicking update but after 5 or 6 times I get a corrupt file message and need to delete local content of DI. FFXIII is now downloading and got to 14GB of 50 with no problems. Tried downloading AI 4 times now (once to a new hard drive) but always get this error. Have made the whole steam folder excluded from my anti virus (Bit Defender) scan but still problems.

I was using the dowload region as London UK but as I live in Preston UK I changed it to Manchester. Restarted Steam and still had the same problems. Changed it now to Atlanta US and the download has been ok. Downloaded 2GB of the 14.6GB it requires so hopefully this fixes it

I too had the very same problem downloading it off of the US_Atlanta server. I went into my download settings and switched to the US_Chicago server (without deleting local content), restarted steam, and the download resumed where it left off with no errors.

well i just kept trying and it worked after a while

I can confirm that switching the download server fixed the download corrupt issue. The game downloaded and installed correctly and is running with no issues thus far.
