[OLD THREAD] Steam Guard sending same activation code over and over
I'm sucessfully signed in on the Steam client, but I'm trying to sign in on Chrome. I got the Steam Guard code from my email, but it didn't work, so I exited and tried again, but Steam Guard emailed me the same code, again. I've exited Steam and signed back in (which isn't even the issue, since I'm trying to sign in on Chrome), and cleared my cookies, but what ever I do, it's sending me the same code, which isn't working.

I'm having the same problem. Right now I was trying to connect with the opera browser and the same thing happened: it keeps sending over and over again the same code, which is not accepted.

I'm also having the same problem. Glad they created a Steam Client... but is bad when the client doesn't work.

Thank god I'm not the only one. I've been trying to sign in to a number of websites and this keeps happening to me. Of course, steam support isn't of any use because they haven't sent my confirmation email no matter how many times I ask them to resend it, so I'm unable to contact steam support for help with this matter.

Looks like we have to issue a ticket about this issue then.

If your client works go here to file a ticket to appeal this matter. If they just close it, looks like another one needs to be opened.

We all know that. Our point here is that if the website is corrupted, and the client isn't working, than we will have no way to access Steam.

Well now the problem of not being able to log in is fixed but there's still the main issue that has to be fixed

I just tried everything that Jacob said and it worked for me. I hope you can get your issue resolved dude.

This keeps happening over and over and I keep getting blocked from purchasing from the market for 7 days because Steam is not recognizing my computer. So sick of the system not seeing this is the exact same computer every time I log in. I don't have a new system. Been using this one for years. Is there any way to fix this???

I'm having the same problem. The code is the same over and over but according to Steam is wrong, even though I'm copying and pasting the code from the e-mail... I can't log in from the new device :cgrazz:

Didn't work - even the 'View code' in the Location Verification page is the same as the others and is invalid.
