No Australian dollar Steam gift cards???
Ok say I'm at EB Games (which for us Australians is the only video game store thats not an online market), and I think in my head 'Hmmm I wonder if I should buy a steam card with my $50 bucks That I got for Christmas'. And when you get to eb games and find the gift cards section and see a steam gift card and line up at the counter. When you get asked what would you like today, you say "Just this please". When the person scans the steam card its all good the steam gift card works, but just then you realized it said on the gift card USD $50 on the gift card, but you say to yourself 'probably just a factory glitch problem'. When the price comes up on the screen guess what the price comes up as.... Not $50 but however it comes up with $65.69, and you just get so annoyed that you could've got the steam card had it was actually $50 Like it said on the steam card. Now if your Australian like me, you no how annoying this is saying to yourself 'Oh wait if I get a steam card they don't have AUS gift cards, so how much do I have to get again aren't like USD like more expensive to buy a $50 dollar steam card again?'. This is ridiculous and this needs to be fixed. Help me. Help you. #Australia Needs AUS currency gift cards 2015

They probably will, when the store is changed to AU$.

Till then they aren't going to print $65.69 steam gift cards. And having the cards in AUD is just as misleading because the store you use them in is only in USD.

I was under the impression most people in Australia can understand that they are buying a 20US$ gift card with AU$. Anyone with a basic understanding of currency would click to this in 2 sec without batting an eye.

I understand what your saying, But what i'm saying is they really should ACTUALLY think about making steam stores in Australia, because how gift cards in Australia are like now, is just plainly stupid, and believe me you'd understand if you lived in Australia. I also would just like valve to bring steam stores to Australia, because right now I'm pretty sure thats not even on their list do things, which is a shame for them, Loosing Australian customers interest in steam because of this stupid matter that could quite well be easily fixed. Thanks for replying anyways man :)

Probably wasn't clear. They already have plans to add AU$ to the store. So when that rolls around, the cards will probably be changed to AU$ as well.

This probably happend because Steam is based I believe in the U.S. and since they have not yet made cards specifically for AU the currency exchange kicked in.

I love the Steam wallet gift cards (I don't like using credit cards online and they are really simple to use on Steam) and I understand how they work, so I'm not too bothered about the currency.
