Launch option command to run game in Admin mode?
Are there any launch commands that run games as an Admin? I know you can just set up a shortcut and do it with Windows, but this won't be for my machine and would like something a bit more permanent so the owner won't have to worry about fixing it.

Screenshot please. Because there is, I would assume you're looking at the wrong place.

Right click on the game in steam library, click properties, click set launch options, and put this in there "runas.exe/user:administrator".

Scum? Wow. Over react much. Someone is trying to help and the best you can come up with (without offering any help yourself) is to call them scum. What are you?

Anyway, to the OP and anyone else who needs help. In Windows 7/8/10 go to the steam folder. (default path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam). Right click Steam.exe, make sure you do this to the APPLICATION called Steam and not the application extension (.dll) file. In the pop-up window on the "Compatibility" tab put a tick in the box "Run this program as an administrator" and click OK. This will launch Steam with administrator privileges every time steam.exe is invoked. Steam will warn you that it is inadvisable to run Steam in compatibility mode but you can turn the warning off. For some games (like Fallout 4 on my machine lately) you just have to run Steam as admin. Maybe the guys at Steam and the Bethesda guys should get together and sort their ♥♥♥♥ out.

Do not run Steam in administrative mode, run the game instead.

You DON"T will launch Steam as Administrator constantly - This option is for the solution of some types the problems only.

You're a douche for this, the guy is correct in what he is saying. The Compatibility tab is in the properties for the application .exe file found in steamapps/common/[game]. You are not supposed to look in properties from within the steam client library, that is useless.

His problem was most likely because he was looking at the desktop shortcuts which don't have the compatibility tab, most likely because they really just link to steam which then links to the actual EXE in the steamapps folder.

Hey guys for some reason whenever I try to open up CS: GO the game automatically runs as administrator for no reason even if the compatibility tab thingy is ticked off..

I've attempted this before, it just gives me a continuous string of "do you want to do this" or "do you want to do that"
