Wired Xbox 360 Controller without USB End:How to use with PC?
So I borrowed a Xbox 360 controller from my friend to use with my steam games. However, his controller doesnt have a USB end, it looks like this [imgur.com]. What adapter would I need to make this work with the PC?

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. What I mean is, does any adapter work or do I need a specific one?

From your picture, and a bit of googleing, it appears that the wired controller has an "inline release", designed so if you trip over the cable it breaks away rather than pulling your 360 off the shelf.
You either need to ask your friend for the other half of the cable or buy a spare one (they're about 2 quid on amazon, search "360 breakaway cable")
