Steam account restricted
My steam account was restricted for 9 weeks due to some credit card issues. I was unable to do certain things such as purchasing from the store, using the community market, trading, and some other things. I received a message telling me all this and that I was restricted till the 1st of June. Its now past that date. The trade ban words were removed from my profile but I am still unable to trade.

I messaged steam saying that I am still restricted even though my ban should have ended. They replied saying they can't remove bans. But I have one when its supposed to be gone!

What can I do or say to resolve this?

The message told me that my account would be restricted for 9 weeks (until June 1st). I have already waited the 9 weeks. I'm still unable to trade but the words "Trade Ban" were removed from my profile which was there during the 9 weeks.

There are several factors that can prevent trading, you should check this article:

I understand why my steam account was restricted. But the problem is that it was a temporary restriction and was supposed to return to normal. I wondering why because the trade ban was removed from my profile but I still unable to trade.

Sadly, you won't have an anwser here. This is ticket related. Update your ticket and continue your account recovery process with Steam help support.

Will do. But I'm afraid they will give some computer generated answer that won't help at all. They also say they won't remove any bans, even though my account was only supposed to be temporarily restricted.
You are not trade banned. Something else is preventing you from trading.

When I am invited to a trade, it says I am trade banned. Maybe you might be right but other things could it be?

Have you waited the full 9 weeks yet. I have seen others in the same situation have there account unrestricted after the 9 week but for some reason mine is isn't. Plus steam won't modify account restrictions even if they are supposed to be temporary and already gone.

Are you saying you got the same account restriction for doing a purchase chargeback?

Then you've been given 9 weeks to reverse the chargeback.

they basically said that they wouldnt reverse it because there was hard evidence, even though all i did was use a debit card rather than a credit card.
