Can't run Portal 2 anymore..
So, I bought a new laptop (old one broke).
It was working fine playing games and everything then it just 'gave up'.

When I start Portal 2, I get the menu and everything but for some reason, when I play Co-Op online (after connecting) my computer starts flashing black then grey over and over until I have to terminate Portal 2.

I haven't installed anything that takes up a lot of GB and don't run anything whilst playing games.

I have also ran it at the lowest resolution possible and in a window with no luck.

the computer needs to be set up correctly. New doesn't mean it is updated or set up correctly. I know, I take brand new computers and correct whats wrong with them all the time.

Portal 2 runs just fine on W8.1 without the need of compatibility mode.

Until you verify the computer is up to date in all aspects, you are wasting your efforts.
