Windows 8 app to pin your games to the Start Menu

Thanks for this. I use this daily. Was looking forward to the new steam client but it fails to really be metro. Looking forward to future updates. Would be good to see live tiles for each game with feeds from my friends. (New pics, reviews etc)

Thanks. Is there a way for you to also put a mark on tiles for steam games that have "Touch Support" for windows 8. This way when I'm on the go with the touch laptop I can see what options I have at a glance. Beyond that of Civ V. Though, Civ V will take up a lot of my time.

I've noticed a lot of pin steam clones popping up. None of them are as good though and I am still satisfied with my purchase. With the tiles in place I find my girlfriend doesn't get lost navigating the horrible steam clients because I can just put up the valid and meaningful tiles.

I'm glad you're still satisfied with the app! Unfortunately Pin Steam doesn't know which games are touch capable and which aren't. I think the best you can do is to edit the tile image yourself and put a touch icon on it.

looks cool but i never use that part and i go straight to desktop, can u pin them to the tool bar on desktop?, i have steam pinned there

Yes. Create a desktop icon and right click it, there should be a "Pin to task bar." option(If there isn't, just click and drag it down to the taskbar.).
There may even be a "Pin to start menu."(the metro screen", but they'll be the smaller square tiles with an image of the desktop icon, and not the image like this app delivers.

Cool App by the way. Not got it, since I always go straight to the desktop environment myself, but for anyone using their W8 PC as a dedicated Steam Box, this is pretty good.

Cool. Might just come up with some kinda touch overlay as I find the games and add it to the image archive. Thanks for the heads up FeliZK, I hope valve are watching, because I really like this as the foundations for integration into win 8.

So what are the limitations of the trial since it has unlimited time?

The limitations of the trial is that you can't launch the games directly from the start screen without the full version. That means you can try out pretty much all the features before buying.

Found this app on my old laptop. Remembering how awesome and useful it is. The tiles are still visible (until I some day update this thing)
