GTA 5 really slow download

I purchased GTA5 pc the other day and I'm STILL downloading it. Im getting about 10% a day. It's going to take me over a week to download this game. PATHETIC steam, or Rockstar or who ever is responsible. Ive tried changing servers, ive tried removing the .part file. Nothing changes. it never goes above 377kbs. It's 2015..... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ookla, it will most likely be first one that appears on google. Verizon uses them for their speedtest

Maybe its your internet, maybe its your pc, it could be many reasons.

3.09 is pretty bad, I get 75 to 90

3.09Mbps translates into about 386KBps. Ie. you are getting from Steam as much as you should be.

The issue here is that Speedtest reports numbers in megabits per second, whereas Steam uses kilobytes per second; 3.09 megabits per second translates into 3090 kilobits per second and that becomes ~386 kilobytes per second.
