Creating new Steam account

My account was VAC banned 5-6 years ago, plus my account name is my old email address, so it looks stupid.

I'm wanting to transfer over newly purchased games to a new account. What's the best way of going about doing this? I've heard family sharing will work.

You can not transfer any games. You can set up family sharing and the games that are not VAC banned should be available.

Okay, so family sharing will allow me to play non-VAC banned games? Will the family shared games show up in my games library? Will I somehow be able to use my current email address with the newly created account?

Games should appear once family sharing is set up on both accounts- check
Steam accounts are free so just set it all up and check out family sharing options for the results.

You may have some issues with the VAC ban thing you'll just have to see. Not all games are available in family sharing, like some call of duty games for example. That's just the people that made the game opting out.

@eram Thank you. I only purchased a few other games like KOTOR 1&2 and Deus Ex, so I don't think i'll have issues sharing those. I'm looking to start purchasing newer games, which is why I want to create a new account now.
