Steam debit Card verification refund?
Ok so I recentlyadded a debit card to my account and steam made me verify it. Steam made 2 transactions on it and I had to type the amounts to lift my limitations. What I didn't know is that steam would take that money. I wanna know if ill ever get that money back. Its only a few bucks but until I get paid i need ever buck I have. I find it unfair and a low blow.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you are short on cash, why would you verify? Just wait the 7 days out... in any event, yes, it gets returned. Strictly speaking it was never gone, a pre-authorization hold was placed on the funds. According to the support article, it may take up to 10 business days however.

Has it been 3-5 business days since you verified the card? As soon as you verify it or fail to Steam release the funds to your bank. Usually it returns to your account within 5 business days, but it can take up to 10 business days depending on your bank/payment provider's policies and your country's banking laws.

i dont know
Its 5 days since they have almost charged P112 or $2.38 in my e-prepaid Mastercard and Community market restrictions was imposed upon my account. My market restrictions have now been successfully lifted. And still currently waiting for the refund on my card.

It's a hold that is on your card by your bank. No money has been passed to Valve/Steam - your banks hold on the funds need to expire and the funds will be marked as available again.

It will depend on your bank as and when this happens. You could ring them and ask them to remove the hold on the funds.
It took 10 out of my Stan wallet and not the 2.50 it said so what do I do

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
