FFVIII Bug?
First of all, I'd like to state that I have no cheats, helpers, etc. I'm 42 minutes into my game curently and while being attacked by mobs, i'm being cured instead of taking damage. Any ideas or suggestions?

I haven't played Final Fantasy VIII in many, many years. However if your resistance to an element is high enough, I believe you absorb that element and gain health instead of losing it. Does every attack heal you, or just certain attacks? Are they elemental attacks?

I haven't even junctioned magic yet. That's where the issue is. Every attack is healing me, currently.

And they are basic attacks. Non-elemental.

Then that definitely sounds like a bug. You would be best off asking in the Final Fantasy VIII forums, though getting technical support for a game this old may be nigh on impossible.
