HELP "Could not link to your Facebook profile. Please try again later."

I've tried linking my facebook for the past few weeks (Yes, weeks!), and every singe time without fail, I get that same message. "Could not link to your Facebook profile. Please try again later." So what do i do? I try again later, and same thing. Does anyone know a fix for this? I do have a facebook and nothing is wrong with it. I don't understand why this is happening.
