Why did Valve remove RSS feeds for individual games?
I subscribed in Feedly to the feed which was linked in the news page for a game that i was interested in, only to miss the release of long awaited DLC by three days because Valve removed them without any explanation. The links looked like this: http://steamcommunity.com/games/268050/rss/ and now they return an outdated cached version. You just pissed off a customer for no good reason. Now i understand that Valve wants us to keep inside the walled garden and keep visiting the store, but this is just downright nasty. How am i supposed to subscribe to updates now? What does the "follow" button in the Store do?

There's nothing wrong with the feed

The dev didnt update the RSS feed which is done via Steam Announcements

You can't blame Steam because the dev didn't update the RSS feed. Its outdated because the developer chose to make it outdated. Not Steam

As you can see if a dev updates their announcements, the RSS feed updates properly

Steam cannot feed you data that doesnt exist

Okay, that was retarded of me. I apologize. You can delete the thread now. I shall look for a way to subscribe to news instead (looks like there is a third part service to do that).

There doesnt seem to be anything bulit into steam to filter News by game.

If you need something game specific this might be what you're looking for.
