Possibility to get Steam dataset for research purpose

I am a PHD student in computer science, with machine learning as my research interest. I am wondering if I can get the user data for research purpose? It is fine even if the dataset is old. Just want a dataset to validate our machine learning algorithm.

that data from above is from this api.

I need the data that is provided by the Steam Web API but i don't own a web app. Steam requires you to own a web app in order to get a Developer Key to use the API.

I found a solution! Just use your e-mail address on the domain field, and remember there are rules to use this data. Thank you all for your help.
