Spammer and Scammer

Hello Steam Community,

why do i have to log in to Steam and see Notifications about 6 new Messages from someone i blocked?
I blocked him because there is a lot of spam and scam going on and he was clearly a spammer.

My Point is, he is on my blocklist, i dont care if i get messages from someone on my blocklist, but it shows up in my notification area and wont be gone until i unblock him and look at the message.

Is this a Bug or a Feature Valve ?

Do something about all that spam. People with Accounts that are not older than 30 Days or haven't made purchases etc. should not be allowed to send Friend Invites or Messages.

If i have someone i know that is new to Steam, I will Add him. Dont let every spammer Mass-Add Accounts or Write Messages.

Is the said user in your "Friends" list? (Blocking does not currently "Unfriend" a user).

ehh it doesnt unfriend? i tought it does. guess i learned something
