I bought the game two days ago from steam. Played just fine last night and now it is telling me unauthorized user and I need a steam key. I'm furious because I only had for two days and now can't get key without rebuying the game.

Game itself so client not authorized after my windows throws a werid program file wont run stop program than i get that

I see there's a demo on the game's own website, but not on Steam.

Maybe if you have the demo and the full game both installed, they can be interfering with eachother somehow? Only thing I can think of, anyway.

you are the only person in a position to do anything about it. I suspect FFL2 is correct.

You should uninstall the demo and see if that fixes it. if not, uninstall the local content from Steam and redownload.

Do you know and trust the person you got the gift from. If it was fraudulently purchased the game would be revoked from whatever account it was currently in

The issue may or may not be on Tottally's end. There was an update to the game today, and it seems others, including myself, are now having issues with it as well. I can get into the game fine, but when it tries to load a cut scene it tells me I'm an unauthorized Steam user now. I bought the game through the Steam client about a month ago, and I start it from the Steam client. I'm hoping they get this issue fixed quickly, and will be contacting their support team.
