//edit// My bad, Grand Theft Auto V does not support cloud saving. You will need to backup your save file to not lose progress.

Yes. Just make sure any other games you want to play support cloud saving, otherwise you will need to find and backup their save files individually.

You can copy the Steam folder, just make sure you backup GTA V's save file as it may not be in the Steam folder. You shouldn't have to verify the integrity of the game cache, though you can if you want to, as Steam will do that on your new computer anyways.

You will not need to download GTA V again. It will verify the files when you first start it. Just install Steam on the new computer, then paste the old Steam folder in the same location. You don't have to overwrite the existing files, just copy the new files. //edit// Yes, just make sure the saves go back in the correct folder.

I don't believe that would work, no. I would install Steam first, then paste the folders,

Windows will prompt you. You can overwrite if you want, but you don't need the existing files, so you should also be able to choose "Ignore'.

so just overwright over the Steamapps Folder since thats where GTA V is going ?

My personal suggestion would be when asked to overwrite a file, choose "Ignore". You already have a copy of the file, so it's not necessary to overwrite. You should not receive an overwrite prompt for Grand Theft Auto V files, as they will not already exist on the new installation.

Im just asking that if i Overwright the new steam with the previous steam folder and GTA V just goes to its original place which is in the steamapps, common folder will it work ?

btw there's a skip option not a Ignore
//edit// Sorry theres a Dont Move Option too
